

By using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to capture crucial data from Slack conversations, customer data is much more likely to be complete-and always up to date. There is huge potential for workflow automation between Slack and Salesforce, and this could significantly reduce the amount of time employees spend finding and updating data on the CRM side. These integrations will also be key to the value proposition of a Salesforce-owned Slack.

The steps required took some time to discover, but the whole thing is fairly simple to set up. I don’t even need a Preview Org or Summer 22 Sandbox for it.
